WELCOME to Aberdeen American Legion Post #24 Web Site. This experiment in
the WEB media is almost too much for your Korean Era Commander. However,
we hope to bring into our "listening" audience the "New Era" Veterans who
desire information on the American Legion, and especially as it pertains
to Aberdeen's Post No. 24.
While 1 am new to the WEB World, I am not new to the need for Veterans Organizations.
In my nearly 50 years belonging, I have seen the need to work both, at the
Local and National Level to maintain or keep from losing educational and
health related services to the people who have served our country. If we
believe the promised benefits should always be there for Veterans, we need
to put our money where our mouth is, and be ready to stand up and be counted.
Otherwise, sit down and watch those services deteriorate.
Our Post is very active in Veteran and Youth activities throughout the year.
We meet on the 3rd Monday of each month at 8 PM. You can become an active
member and get to meet with your comrades or just become a member knowing
your organization is working for YOU.
