S.A.L National Website

The S.A.L. (Sons of the American Legion) is a national organization that shares the American Legion's call to service in support of our country's veterans, as well as community service and Americanism.

It's members are comprised of male descendants (including stepsons and adopted sons) of Legionnaires, or of deceased veterans who were eligible for membership in The American Legion. (See the Membership link to the left for Legion eligibility.)

At this time, there is not a Squadron of the S.A.L. in the Aberdeen area, but there are several in the Department of South Dakota.  If you would be interested in joining an existing Squadron, or in helping to start one in Aberdeen, please contact the Post and we will assist you in doing so.
